We were taught the wrong history. So Gandhi could be celebrated. And Bose could be erased. How long before we correct this mistake?

We were taught the wrong history
We were taught the wrong history

We were taught the wrong history

We have the wrong man on our currency.

Wrong face.

Wrong story.

Wrong father.

A nation raised on bedtime lies.

Repeated till they felt holy.

Today, I have decided to Expose the Lie.

Loudly.

Clearly.

Factually.

We are told India was freed by Ahimsa.

By silence.

By folded hands.

Cute story.

Very marketable.

Completely False.

The real fracture began in 1939.

World War II.

Britain panicked.

Germany rose.

Japan surged.

The Empire needed Soldiers.

Indian Soldiers.

And Gandhi said yes.

Millions of Indians.

Dragged into a European war.

A war not ours.

While famines were engineered.

Peaceful protests crushed.

Jails overflowing.

Subhas Chandra Bose saw it.

And snapped.

Angered.

Helpless.

He asked one question.

Why die for British wars?

Congress hesitated.

Gandhi complied.

So, Bose walked away.

1941.

Disguised.

Hunted.

He fled India.

Through Kabul.

Through Moscow.

Into Nazi Germany.

Not as a Nazi.

As a rebel.

He met Hitler.

Ribbentrop.

Goebbels.

He disagreed with racism.

Rejected antisemitism.

But he was clear.

Enemy’s enemy.

Temporary ally.

Germany wanted Britain broken.

India was the pressure point.

Berlin funded Bose.

Broadcast him.

Azad Hind Radio.

His voice crossed oceans.

A War Cry for Free Bharat.

Pierced prisons.

Awoke soldiers.

Awoke Indians.

The British trembled.

Indian POWs were released.

Recruited.

Reborn.

The Indian National Army.

Then Bose vanished again.

1943.

A submarine.

Under oceans.

Like a ghost.

Germany to Japan.

Tokyo listened.

Believed.

Backed him.

Japan freed 40,000 Indian POWs.

They swore allegiance.

Not to Hitler.

Not to Hirohito.

To India.

The Provisional Government of Free India was formed.

Recognised by Japan.

Supported by Germany.

Bose marched.

Imphal.

Kohima.

The Imperial Empire shook.

Then 1945.

World War II ended.

Germany lost.

Japan fell.

But Britain?

Bleeding.

Bankrupt.

Broken.

The real terror came next.

INA trials.

Public anger.

Indian soldiers stopped obeying.

The Royal Navy mutinied.

The Empire collapsed from inside.

So Britain ran.

1947.

Abrupt.

Unplanned.

Terrified.

And then the story was rewritten.

A clean myth.

Non-violent.

Safe.

So, elites stayed safe.

Congress remained in Power.

Dynasties survived.

And Bose?

Erased.

Questioned.

Declared inconvenient.

He gave everything.

Comfort.

Health.

Life.

And we gave him silence.

History didn’t forget him.

We did.

Ask yourself.

Who really freed India?

And why are we still afraid to say it?

And who is our Real Father of Nation?
